Tour Plan
Day 1: Jambiani
Transfer to Jambiani. After check in briefing with your guide and bike fitting at The Loop.
Jambiani has both a nice beach and a vivid village. This makes it especially interesting for you who want to gain insight in Zanzibar’s life in combination with palm fringed beaches. On top of that lots of cozy barefoot bars and restaurants to choose from when you walk on the beach in the warm breeze. The turquoise water is stunning, and when the tide goes out the sand banks surfaces and you can swim in the clear blue “river” that opens up between them.
Dinner and overnight at The Loop – straight on the beach. With great location in the middle of the village and nice beach and pool you will have a treat.

Day 2: Kizimkazi
On the way to Kizimkazi (23 km) on the South West of Zanzibar, will you pass a beautiful authentic village- Makunduchi. Here life is lived without interruption from the tourism scene. Banana forests, mango forests, fruit being sold by the road, kids cheering. Whatever happens long the way we stop to see and taste.
Kizimkazi is one of three villages where they catch the big fish-marlin, tuna, and swordfish. With a bit of luck you can see the catch of the day and the fish auction. It is tide depending. Mimi the dhow is waiting there to bring you out on the sea for swimming, diving and lunch onboard. After that time for some well deserved rest at this perfectly located hotel overlooking the horizon.
Karamba Resort is a favorite with all its room facing the sea from your private terrace.

Day 3: Stone Town
Stone Town- a magic place, is the place for today. After some hours of biking, stopping for fruit on the ay, you reach Unguja Ukuu. Here we pack bikes and ourselves on a boat and cross to the West. In Fumba you have your lunch box as there are no restaurants in this area. Some short biking towards Stone Town before jumping on a local bus, dala-dala, to avoid the worst traffic surrounding Zanzibar City.
Stone Town- a mysterious and magical place. You feel the history in its walls when you walk the windy streets. Here Swahili people, Indians and Arabs live alongside and their cultures being mixed together is what makes this place so special. People live their lives on the street and you can follow their lives as the children rumble, men talk and the women cook.
18.00 Emerson Spice has a stunning roof top with sea view. The 5 course dinner will be enjoyed with a breeze from the Indian ocean while the sun sets over the horizon.
You want to enjoy every second so arrive at 18.00 to enjoy it all before dinner starts at 19.00.
We love The Seyyida Hotel for many reasons. The contemporary art, the breakfast with a view, the marble floor and the refreshing pool- to mention just a few things. Should you want to explore more of Stone Town Seyyida has the perfect location. But you can also just enjoy the pool and the roof top view.

There you load the bikes and travel 20 min to the lush spice farm area- this is to avoid the hectic traffic out of Zanzibar City. A 3 km bike ride before arriving to Haji Abeid- the son of the founder of Abeids Spice Farm. Here you will smell and taste all fruit and spices available at the moment: cumin, ginger, vanilla, lemon grass, cloves, cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg, turmeric, pepper, tamarind, chili, oregano and possibly some others. The wives and daughters will cook you a lunch based on vegetables from the family plantation.
