Day 1: Jambiani
Pick up at the airport for transfer to Jambiani. During day meeting with your guide for a brief and try out of bicycles.
Jambiani is a typical Zanzibari countryside village. As your hotel is located near the village you can gain insight in the life as lived here. The beach is being used for seaweed farming, picking mussels for dinner, exercise etc. In the village hundreds of kids return from school and there are multiple fruit shops for you to try the fruit in season.
Overnight and dinner at Casa Beach Hotel Perfect location to experience lots in short time and amazing beach. Here you can swim at low tide by walking out 10 min to the river that is created in between the sandbanks

Day 2: Pongwe
Today your cycling break to the north of Zanzibar starts! You bike along the coast to Michamvi ( 25 km) to catch a boat and pack bikes and yourselves in to cross Chwaka Bay from Michamvi to Chwaka. Some stops along the day of which one is at Pingwe for a drink at Upendo overlooking the world famous restaurant The Rock. After crossing the bay another 13 km of biking before reaching Seasons Lodge in Pongwe .
Seasons Lodge has private terraces and sea view from the bed. How about that? Amazing sky at the sunrise so this is a day for a really early morning.

Day 3: Matemwe
Early morning departure to Matemwe (21 km). Upon arrival you embark a boat to go snorkelling at Mnemba atoll. Mnemba Island is a Marine Conservation area with a vast oval reef system. The reefs surrounding the island have colourful coral and fish. If we are lucky you can jump in the water surrounded by dolphins.
We check in at the cosy Marafiki Beach Hotel with great location straight on the beach, cozy restaurant and mouth watering food.

Day 4: Nungwi
Today you continue to Zanzibar’s Northern point, Nungwi (25 km). One part is through bush forest and you will see birds and village life on the way. In Nungwi there is lots to see with a maasai market, dhow building and sunset on the beach. Its quite developed and there are multiple bars, restaurants and sunset spots to choose from.
Flame Tree Cottages has the perfect location – on the beach but off the busiest part. That means you have a choice- a quite evening or join the party.
