Day 1 Jambiani
Transfer to Jambiani for brief and test of bicycle. Jambiani will show you a chunk of Zanzibar and a piece of Africa. The vivid village is just behind and watch you step so you do not fall over a duck or a goat. You will stay at Red Monkey Lodge, on one of the best beaches of Zanzibar.
Day 2 Kizimkazi- dolphins
Swim with dolphins and cruise through banana plantations and red clay huts is on today´s agenda. On our way to the dolphins and the fishing village Kizimkazi (22 km) you pass the village Makunduchi showing you a bit of Africa. Ripe and sweet fruits will be eaten along the way, sold by the side of the road.
After lunch overlooking the Indian Ocean, we look forward to an encounter with wild dolphins that comes here for resting and breeding. Being wild animals there is no guarantee but in 85 % of the cases we see them.
Karamba Resort is chosen for its sea view rooms on the coral rock and amazing atmosphere at sunset. www.karambaresort.com
Day 3 Stone Town – roof top sunset
56 km today – but on a flat landscape. After a tough and joyful day you will enjoy the best dinner experience Stonetown can offer. Stonetown UNESCO world heritage site. A buzzling and mysterious little town where people live their lives on display in the spice smelly alleys. The mix of cultures is evident as you can see and smell the cultural mix when Africa meets Persia and India.
18.00 Roof top dinner at Emerson on Hurumzi. Best roof top in town where you will enjoy 270 degrees sea view accompanied by the call for prayers and the tingling sound from the Shiva temple below. Drinks excluded ( sunset and drinks around 18, dinner starts 19). www.facebook.com/emersononhurumzi
Overnight at Kholle House – a personal boutique hotel filled with antiquities following the Spice Route to Zanzibar. A feeling of home and lots of beautiful balconies and terraces to enjoy.

Day 5 Nungwi – the top
Biking to Nungwi (53km) via Mkokotoni, a genuine fishing village and “harbour” for the Tumbatu ferry – a small wood boat full of people, goats and bikes. Even though Nungwi is the most develo-ped place on the island it is still laid back Zanzibari. The best is that it is no tide to talk about allowing for a swim 24/7.
Flame Tree Cottages is your place today . Peaceful and lush with bungalows. Breakfast on the veranda is a favorite. If you want beach- and nightlife it is reachable only 200 m away. www.flametreecottages.com

Beside the forest you will visit a sugar cane farm and pass beautiful rice fields.
